THE IVANHOE WAY

The Ivanhoe Way follows a 40-mile circular trail across the Leicestershire countryside, visiting several towns and villages. The trail is bathed in myth and legend, named after the novel written by Walter Scott in 1819, set partially in Ashby-de-la-Zouch. Walking this trail, which passes behind my house, has been a form of asking questions about the environment that surrounds me during lockdown.
